Web Development Essentials
Front-end web development, also known as client-side development is the practice of producing HTML, CSS and JavaScript for a website or Web Application so that a user can see and interact with them directly. In this course, students will explore best practices related to designing to ensure an optimal user experience. Students are tasked with hands-on exercises to create single page designs based on their established use-case. Rounding out this course, students will leverage JavaScript and data from API resources to achieve integration and add both data behaviors and manipulation.

Program Features
In URBE University’s Bootcamp you’ll learn the basics of Front End Web Development with three fundamental languages: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) is a markup language for creating a webpage. It allows the user to create and structure sections, paragraphs, headings, links, and blockquotes for web pages and applications.

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets and describes how HTML elements are to be displayed on screen, paper, or in other media.

JavaScript is one of the 3 languages all developers must learn. Programming the behavior of a web page, JavaScript can calculate, manipulate, and validate data.
Schedule (4 Weeks)
Convenient evening classes on Monday and Wednesday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Sweetwater Campus.
Week 1
Learn basic HTML, including how to place text on a page, add images & videos, and share data in HTML tables. This is the first step in creating web pages to help you tweak your website and more.
Week 2
You’ll begin styling web pages with CSS, the language use to style HTML including color, adding background images, and modifying the layout of a page.
Week 3
Javascript: An Introduction. Don’t be fooled by the word introduction, you’ll be learning the key components of Javascript like arrays, loops, functions, variables, and random number generation.
Week 4
Dive deeper into Javascript, which brings interactivity to websites and powers some of the most popular and powerful web development frameworks.
